v11.8.1

Athlete check-in arrives — officials can run uniform and equipment checks at the start line, right from race mode — plus smarter voice and incident reporting and a private test event for new accounts.

Event setup

  • Technical delegates: On organisations with athlete check-in enabled, switch it on for an event from its settings. It's a one-time, confirmed action — once check-in is live for the event it stays on.
  • Technical delegates: Each race uses the checklist for its category — Elite, U23, Junior, or para — picked automatically from the race name, or set it yourself in the race settings.

Athlete check-in

  • Technical officials: A new Athlete check-in tool lives in the race-mode tools folder. Pick a station, enter an athlete's bib, and tick off each check, with an overview of what's done and who's still waiting.
  • Technical officials: Capture photos and a signature as part of a check, look up shoes, wheels and uniforms in built-in reference lists, and escalate an athlete when something needs a closer look.
  • Technical officials: Check-in works offline — every tick is saved on your device straight away and syncs once you're back on a connection.

Officiating

  • Voice input ignores empty or silent recordings and asks you to speak again, so a mistaken tap never sends a blank report.
  • Voice-reported penalties and incidents pick up the spoken athlete number more reliably, and the note keeps both the translation and your original words.
  • The incident assistant understands short reports — even a single word like "medical" or "DNF" — and no longer files greetings or off-topic chat as incidents.

Organisation

  • The roles editor has new check-in permissions: work the check-in stations, manage check-in, approve equipment, and receive check-in notifications.
  • The AI assistant can set a race's check-in checklist, and — with event data analysis on — report how check-in is progressing in each race.

Getting started

  • The test event every new account gets for its first week is now private — you see only yourself in it, not other people trying out the app.

Behind the scenes

  • Check-in photos and signatures keep uploading in the background after you move on, so they arrive reliably even on slow start-line networks.
  • Race mode stays responsive and lighter on the battery during long events.
  • Fixed a rare startup crash on some Android phones.
