Ready check
A ready check lets whoever is running a race confirm that every official is in position and ready before the start. Instead of calling around on the radio, you send a single prompt and watch confirmations come back in real time.
Starting a ready check
The ready check is started from inside race mode. Open the in-race drawer (the menu button, top-left) and tap Ready Check.

The sheet lists every official assigned to the race who can respond, along with whether they are currently in race mode. Tap Start ready check to send the prompt. Everyone who needs to respond receives a notification that opens the race for them.
Before you start, the Request from control lets you choose who the check goes to — All participants (the default) or a specific set of officials you pick from the list. When you target a subset, progress is measured against just those officials, and only they are prompted.

Once a check is running, each official shows one of three states:
- Ready — they have confirmed they're set.
- Pending — the prompt was sent but they haven't responded yet.
- Not ready — they responded that they are not yet ready.
As officials respond, each one also shows their battery level and whether their location came through, so you can spot a flat battery or a missing position before the start.
Resending and resetting
While a check is in progress you have three controls:
- Resend — re-send the prompt to everyone who hasn't confirmed yet. There is a short cooldown between resends so officials aren't spammed; the button shows the remaining seconds while it's on cooldown.
- Reset — clear everyone's response and start a fresh round. Use this if positions changed and you want a clean confirmation.
- End — finish the ready check.
People who have already confirmed are never re-notified by a resend.
Confirming you're ready
If someone else starts the ready check, you receive a notification that takes you straight into the race. Open the Ready Check item from the in-race drawer and confirm your status so the initiator can see you're set.
Who can use it
Starting, resending, resetting and ending a ready check is available to officials who can start and stop the race (typically Technical Officials, Head Referees and Technical Delegates). Confirming readiness is available to any assigned official whose role has the ready-check permission enabled.
The feature is only available on races where the delegate has enabled the ready check for the race.
