Downloading the app

RaceRanger is available on iOS, Android, and the web.

iOS

Download from the App Store. Requires iOS 18.0 or later.

For pre-release testing, your organisation admin may invite you to TestFlight. Accept the invitation email, install TestFlight from the App Store, then open the RaceRanger beta from inside TestFlight.

Android

Download from Google Play. Requires Android 8.0 or later.

Web

RaceRanger is also available as a web app at app.raceranger.com. The web version is used primarily by organisation admins and delegates for event setup, race configuration, and monitoring.

Two things need the mobile app: creating an account with an email and password, and joining an event as crew.

Keeping the app up to date

RaceRanger sets a minimum app version. If your app is older, it tells you when it starts:

  • Update Required — you can't continue until you update. The screen shows your current version and the minimum version; tap Update Now to go straight to the store.
  • New Version — tap Update to go to the store, or Dismiss to carry on for now.

Tip

Enable automatic updates on your device so you always have the latest version before race day.
