v11.2.0

Athlete countries now show across incident and penalty lists, the event assistant becomes a full chat you can keep going, slow voice reports can be retried, and the app rides out service hiccups more smoothly.

Penalties and incidents

  • The event-wide incidents and penalties list now shows each athlete's country — a small flag and country code — next to their name.
  • Technical officials: The pending-penalty count now shows the full number (up to 99+) instead of clipping to a single digit.

Officiating

  • Technical officials: If a voice penalty or incident report takes too long to process, you can now tap Retry to re-send the same recording instead of losing it and having to speak again.

Event assistant

  • On phone and tablet, the assistant now sits at the top of your event's chat list — showing its last reply and when it arrived — and opens on your last conversation. It also looks and works like a normal chat, with messages in bubbles.
  • Long conversations no longer stop short: the assistant summarises earlier messages on its own so you can keep going, and nudges you to start a fresh chat once one gets very long.
  • When the assistant lists penalties or incidents, or looks up an athlete, it now includes their country.

Event setup

  • Technical delegates and organisation admins: Penalty times can still be changed after a race has started, but doing so now asks you to confirm and records the change in the race log.
  • Organisation admins: When you edit a race that already has penalties or incidents, each setting that's normally locked after the start is marked with what changing it would risk, and saving asks you to confirm.
  • Organisation admins and technical delegates: The Crews page now shows a clear message when Crews isn't switched on for your organisation.

Behind the scenes

  • The app keeps working more reliably through brief service hiccups — penalties, incidents and location updates keep going through, and event notifications for organisations using the API are delivered more reliably.
  • Moving officials to another race is quicker, and reports register against the right race straight away after the switch.
  • Voice dictation from the Apple Watch comes back a little faster.
  • Race reports with lots of photos are smaller and open reliably, and a report link always opens the latest version.
  • The event assistant rides out slow moments more gracefully, asking you to try again rather than failing.
