Welcome to the RaceRanger docs

This is the first entry in the RaceRanger release notes.

From here on, every app update will get its own post describing what's new. Updates are grouped by role — organisation admins, technical delegates, and technical officials — so you can scan quickly for what affects you.

Where to find things

  • Guides for each role live in the top navigation.
  • This section — release notes — is the chronological record of every update we ship.
  • Each release post focuses on visible changes: new screens, new options, changed behaviour you'll notice in the app. Background improvements (like reliability and battery) are mentioned briefly at the end.

What's in the app today

RaceRanger covers the full officiating workflow:

  • Organisation admins configure the account and create events.
  • Technical delegates set up rules, courses, and officials for a specific race.
  • Technical officials run the event on tablets, logging penalties and incidents and working with the drafting devices athletes wear.

The guides in the top nav walk through each of these in turn.
